Connecting from Microsoft Windows PC

To connect from a Windows PC choose " Remote Desktop Connection" from "Start » All Programs » Accessories"

If the program is not present, go to "Start » Run" and type "mstsc.exe"



Connecting from Linux PC

To connect from a Linux PC use the rdesktop program present on all recent Linux distributions. Otherwise you can download it from http://www.rdesktop.org.

Some examples of the connection string (where winxp is the host name of the Windows PC with Thinstuff software ):
rdesktop -uuser -ppass -f winxp
connecting with user=user, password=pass, host=winxp, in fullscreen mode

rdesktop -g1280x900 -rdisk:linux=/home/shared/Windows -ulogin -ppassword -f winxp




Connecting from MAC

To connect from MAC you can use CoRD or Microsoft client.
You can download CoRD from http://cord.sourceforge.net or Microsoft client from http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/remote-desktop/default.mspx.

Some examples of the connection string (where winxp is the host name of the Windows PC with Thinstuff software ):
rdesktop -uuser -ppass -f winxp
connecting with user=user, password=pass, host=winxp, in fullscreen mode

rdesktop -g1280x900 -rdisk:linux=/home/shared/Windows -ulogin -ppassword -f winxp

connecting with user=login, password=pass, host=winxp, 1280x900 screen, showing to ThinStuff server /home /shared/Windows folder as network drive.



Connecting from IPhone

To connect from IPhone or IPod you can use iRdesktop
You can download iRdesktop from iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/app/irdesktop/id311467740?mt=8).
